I couldn't believe how advance this looks. This feels too good to be true, but I can't wait to try this.
I have a few questions though:
How clean the auto-retopo will be for complicated assets?
I noticed that the segmentation feature looks handy. How accurate it can detect parts?
The auto-uv, will there be a control on which parts to UV? can we add seam on it?
How fast the generation is?
I couldn't see the pricing, how much will this cost?
Hey Kaedim team, really digging Secret Sauce 3D overall, but segmentation is killing my workflow.
Quick rundown:
Generate high-poly → drag to right panel → "Segment mesh"
It finishes, says "ready" with green check
But model is all one color (AI sees only 1 part)
No "Edit Segmentation" button, no vertex painter shows up
Tried refreshing, optimizing first, still nothing.
I've already burned through 9 credits retrying different models and variations just to get manual editing to work. Attached screenshot of the typical result.
This is blocking me from splitting parts (head, arms, etc.) for printing. Any workaround to force manual/vertex painter when auto fails? Or a fix on the way?
Thanks heaps – love the tool otherwise and want to keep using it!

The "refine, don't rebuild" concept feels like the right angle. How much time are artists actually saving?

Regarding your question, it obviously depends on the asset and the pipeline, but for game-ready realistic assets we’re often seeing artists skip several days from high-poly blockout to an optimized mesh, often with a strong UV starting point. Hope that helps!
SS3D is more versatile than i thought.
I was excited about the retopo and texture generation.
For the texture, is it possible to generate complete PBR map from generated tiled texture?

Do you only create graphics, or can you also animate 3D? I remember a couple of years ago we paid $1,200 to create an animated pineapple for our website’s homepage) It’s a pity services like yours didn’t exist back then.
