Simmer (formerly Foodie) has reviews for every dish on a restaurant’s menu. It's a dish decider for when you're at a restaurant. We use ML to algorithmically generate ratings. So far, we have 380k ratings at 5k San Fran, Manhattan, and Chicago restaurants.

I started using Foodie in SF after first moving. It’s basically replaced Yelp for me. I often find places on Infatuation and then pick dishes through Foodie. It was hard to go back to general restaurant reviews after getting meal-specific reviews.
Pros:- Much more detailed than yelp for food - Has food guides from different websites - App gets updated frequently
Cons:Can’t think of any. I’m excited for other cities to be added (NYC!) Would be useful when traveling.

The app is great and useful. Have tried choosing dishes 4-5 times now and never been disappointed.
Pros:Saves me time in choosing the right dish at a restaurant
Cons:I am sure UX improvements are on the way, like auto suggestions etc
I think this is exactly an app that allows those who truly only care about the food quality and experience more than anything else to really filter out everything else. Focusing more on what I want, and the best place to go for that. It’s been helpful in seeing what to avoid, and even convinces me to give restaurants who I didn’t like too much another chance. Helpful to both the restaurant and the customer!
Pros:I’m always on the hunt for brand new food to explore, and this app does just that!
Cons:Can’t think of anything yet so far!

This app is exactly what I need! When I use Yelp to look for specific dishes that other people like at restaurants, I end up scrolling for hours to find what I am looking for. But with Foodie, I can get recommendations from reliable people within seconds! It has really improved my dining experience and I can't wait for people to keep adding their reviews to the app.
Pros:- easy to use - updated frequently - has photos for specific dishes

Foodie is a great idea and I'm glad it exists.
Pros:The app makes it easy to figure out what to order at restaurants!
Cons:There could still be more reviews and content and more photos! It improves everyday though!
