Simmer (formerly Foodie) has reviews for every dish on a restaurant’s menu. It's a dish decider for when you're at a restaurant. We use ML to algorithmically generate ratings. So far, we have 380k ratings at 5k San Fran, Manhattan, and Chicago restaurants.
It is fun too!
Pros:I really like the way this App helps me make good choices at a restaurant. Not only you have a good list with ratings but also pictures.
Cons:I would like to see a better way to keep track of my eating history and when I re-visit restaurants.
They’re clearly iterating quickly.
Pros:Great recommendations and really intuitive UI. I’ve been using this every time I go out.
Cons:More cities, NYC please!
The Feed feature is particularly awesome- I can see where my friends are eating and what they recommend! It's truly unique to be able to see what food my friends are trying and raving about as they explore the city.
Pros:-Discover new, traditional, orforgotten restaurants that prepare the best food! -Save crave-worthy menu options in your own collections
Cons:My social circle within the app is currently limited- would be great to have a suggested friends feature!
