I’ve been using Sinosend for a while now and I’m genuinely impressed with its performance and feature-set.
From the very start I was able to set up a custom domain in minutes, which gives a more professional brand experience to my clients.

On the security side, Sinosend supports password-protected links and SSL encryption, so I feel confident entrusting it with confidential files.
In terms of functionality it covers everything we need: large-file transfers, expiry settings, tracking of downloads/views, and even analytics for how files are accessed.
The dashboard is intuitive and integrates well into a workflow, whether sharing creative assets, client deliverables or internal documents.
What stands out for me is the quality of the support. When I had a couple of questions about data location setup, the support team responded quickly and clearly, guiding me step-by-step. That kind of responsiveness makes a real difference in a busy project environment.
In short, if you’re looking for a reliable, full-featured file-sharing platform with custom branding, strong security, and responsive support, Sinosend is absolutely worth considering.
Hey Product Hunters! 👋
I'm Rishi, founder of Sinosend. I used to be a massive fan of WeTransfer, they were the GOAT until they weren't. Why was I still seeing ads with a paid account? Why were they completely blocked in places like China and India, where a huge chunk of my business happens? Every time I sent a file, it felt like I was spending money just to put WeTransfer's brand, not mine, in front of my clients. And the final straw, the drama around their Terms & Conditions that hinted at using your uploaded content for AI training.
We created a file transfer tool built for business, where your brand and privacy are non-negotiable.
TLDR; Sinosend is free to use for sending a 3GB file with password protection without even signing up, its right there on our home page, give it a try. Product Hunters get 50% off for the first 6 months.
Dropbox Transfer didn’t help much either; same issues, different name. DocSend was great, but become wayyy to complex So, I decided enough was enough, and that’s how Sinosend was born. 🚀
We're the powerful alternative to the old guard of file transfer, all the features, none of the corporate headaches.
Whether it’s purchase orders, pitch decks, raw wedding photos, with Sinosend, you can finally:
✅ Share massive files (seriously, up to 100GB—because size does matter)
✅ Choose where to store you Data (US, EU, Asia, Middle East) choose the region closer to your recipients, switch regions whenever you need to.
✅ Avoid pesky regional restrictions (goodbye firewalls!)
✅ Use your own domain name for file sharing (because your brand deserves the spotlight (docs.yourcompany.com/link) and not wetransfer.com/yourlink
✅ Track your files like you would a Fedex envelope—know who opened them, where, and when.
✅ Request for files, group all requests in to one bucket.
✅ Share files with your Team.
✅ Use your own email domain not ours.
We’re building this with your feedback, so head to our roadmap and let us know what you want to see next: https://sinosend.com/roadmap. We're just getting started
Let’s make file sharing seamless, secure, and actually enjoyable.
Cheers,
Rishi 🚀 Co-founder, Sinosend

@rishiuttamhk Congratulations on your launch!
@k_vrbova Thanks Thanks! Will revist sidemail once again!
Congratulations on the launch. I've been using sinosend for a year now. I collect huge files from clinics and small businesses to work on their branding story. I also send assets to them for approval which are large in size. Never once sinosend failed to deliver and it's been improving since I found about it. It's an indispensable File Management send and recieve platform.
@mhdlabib Thanks and appreciate your comment. Thats a great use case for Sinosend, we may do a case study on it one day! Thanks again for being so supportive.
Congrats on Sinosend … Great and Easy to Use , I like the feature of allowing a transferred file to be available to download within whatever time frame I set for it. All the Best!!
@linus_bernal Thanks Linus!

This is a really good solution, @rishiuttamhk! Best of luck with the launch 🚀
@valsopi Awesome Val, thank you for showing your support!
@valsopi Thanks Val!
SinoSend is the best app I discovered in the last year. Reliable and response time is within the hour of you hit a glitch in the setup. Easy to use and it's replaced my wetransfer fully!
👍🔥👍🔥👍🔥👍🔥👍
@siri_guru On fire today! Thank you so very much, we're only going to get better!.
Congrats on the launch! The option to select storage region for speed and privacy is super interesting. How do you handle clientside file encryption before upload? Is it built in by default or customizable for specific needs?
@wav_rover -- 2nd reply, somethings seems to be wrong with PH submissions today
Thanks so much for the kind words on the launch and for asking such a sharp question. You've definitely hit on a feature we're really proud of!
You're correct that clients select their default data region during onboarding and can change it whenever they need to. But here’s the kicker, and perhaps a unique difference from others in the space: in the next few months, we're launching 'Region-on-the-fly' switching. This means you can decide on the optimal region for every single transfer. One request can land in our new Mexico region, the very next in US East, and another in Hong Kong, all based on what's best for speed and compliance at that moment for you and your customers. We're actually adding three new regions soon: Mexico, US West, and London, which will make it 7.
Regarding security, right now all data is encrypted at rest (on our servers) and in transit (during the upload and download process). You can additionally add a robust layer of protection by using a passphrase on your transfer, too.
Looking ahead to early next year, we're rolling out true client-side (at-source) encryption. This is military-grade symmetric encryption that uses the passphrase you set as the foundation for a key derivation function, specifically PBKDF2.
Was there any algorithm in particular you were interested in? Thanks for the Q's!
@rishiuttamhk Yeah hahaha I had that problem of upload too.
Honestly the idea of switching storage regions whenever you want is pretty clutch, especially for people working across continents. And passphrase based encryption and pbkdf2 isn’t something you see everywhere! Nice work making file transfer feel a bit less corporate and way more flexible
@wav_rover That is true, Dropbox does include it as part of the their enterprise plans ( i belive ). Pcloud does do at source encryption, but you cant switch out stroage regions. Transfernow.net does allow you to switch between regions but not on the fly and doens't do at-source. All great options though, however none of them allow you do brand the platform on your domain...we're aiming higher Thanks again.
@rishiuttamhk Thanks! Totally agree ,region control and real branding always end up limited. Having your own domain really takes things to another level! Excited to see how far you guys push it.
@wav_rover Hi Again Jeremy, answered in detail in your previous post!
I've been using sinosend for the last few months and it has worked flawlessly, saving me quite a lot of money. And as I've worked several times with China, it has saved me also quite a few headaches for files exchanges.
@pcrooks Thank so much and for your long term support. We're only getting better and i do understand about cross border file transfers -- thats why we're here!
