A needed product/service -- especially in LA. Excited when I first found out about it from @hellobrent. Feels like a no-brainer-- especially when you're at the airport. Hopefully you guys expand to more cities soon!
Thanks @kinadesantis and shoutout to @hellobrent spreading the word. Those shuttle buses at he airport are a nightmare, right? LA is our home market, we're also available in San Diego and Miami. More cities coming soon for sure.
@joshmangel@harryhur5t Very nice. The app has a big disadvantage of facing a barrier of getting downloaded. The chance of remaining on the phone is also low. We can help mitigate that.

@ishanjain_t first time being pitched on a product hunt launch, A for effort. will check out your platform. But disagree that having to download an app is a big barrier + our onboarding is pretty seamless and takes less than a minute.

@everette@ishanjain_t Disagree here as well. If they have Facebook Messenger, it means they have a device that has access to google play or app store, where Skurt is just a couple taps away. Not a big barrier by any means.
@matsilva thanks Mat, definitely with you on this one. Messenger bots have some cool applications and I'm excited to see where developers like Ishan take them. That being said, for now we're super focused on perfecting our in app experience.
I probably came out wrong here. We do not think that apps can be replaced by bots. Messaging is a very natural and personal way of communication. Bots are a good add on if not a replacement for app. I personally feel a little hesitance in downloading an app that I come across and I use around 6-7 apps daily on my phone. Rest of the apps just sit there waiting for it to be opened. @everette@matsilva@harryhur5t@everette would love your experience regarding this, I always assumed that everyone is hesitant in downloading new apps, specially when they are commuting and are on mobile data.
Big fan of Skurt. I'm traveling to LA soon and can't wait to use them instead of the traditional car rental place. When y'all coming to Minneapolis?

Really really love Skurt and their team! Really wish they were around when I was under 25. Those rental fees are killers and having them stop that is huge! Can't wait till they get to NYC already!

Skurt is changing the game on car rentals like Uber changed grabbing a taxi. They make these services how they should be, easy, and you get top tier service as a baseline.
