Love the tagline, @mjoaoferreira2.
I wish the images for each sound were representative of the audio though. The tiling of turntables makes it harder to scan and choose what to play.
Hey @rrhoover, thanks for your feedback. Yeah, definitely something to consider on our roadmap. This is a first iteration of a bigger redesign. In fact, on mobile it’s even more difficult to scan quickly through sounds (which, btw, we are already working on).
If you upload sounds manually (not through youtube) it’s possible to upload an image. However, we should probably be able to choose a frame from the youtube video, making these images more meaningful so that our dashboard could look more like a library of sounds with proper covers. But always open to better suggestions.
So, something to improve definitely! https://www.soundy.top/sounds/625
@grmmph@rrhoover Good point indeed. Although it might be unlikely that we can include it on our short roadmap, it's something great to think about for medium term.
In fact (warning: shameless promotion ahead) part of our team has some nice skills on machine learning (unplugg was hunted =D https://www.producthunt.com/post...) and we even started tOSTa app (http://tosta.herokuapp.com/ not open yet sadly) during an hackathon which is pretty much the reverse of your idea - getting a soundtrack from images/instagram.
So, tl;dr yup, we are almost on the same page, great idea to consider, thanks!

Hey, I like it!) I couldn't find an email on your website, could you please help me to do it? It's about cooperation)
Thanks @yura_chukhlib!
On the right side there's a (small and white) link for our website. I'll leave our contacts section here to make it easier https://www.whitesmith.co/contact. Our contact section/link should probably be in a better place.
@mjoaferreira2 Fun stuff. This space is still available and has a potential not just as a standalone but also as a supporting platform for other video audio products.
Voice only products gets boring over time as people needs food for their eyes. That's the challenge.
Solve this real quick by bringing something awesome as an insert and see this flying high.
@tweetyunus nice feedback!
Definitely! That's something that we need to discuss for our roadmap. Not only we need to make it more visual with covers for each sound as I mentioned before, but also, making it available for other integrations like (for example) having an API.
Also, you're 100% right. It will get boring soon. Sounds are great but users need something to see, something to interact with and feed the loop so that we can keep having new sounds, new users and new ways to use Soundy.
Thanks!
Ha! Great timing. I'm currently writing a post about "voice apps with personality" and have been asking myself if there's something like a "Giphy for Voice" to add a layer to the interaction (what emoji and gifs do for chatbots).
And there you are! I'm going to test it and make sure to mention you in the post. Good job
This is a cool concept we had in our execution list :) was taking little longer as we're tied up with other prioritized ones. Glad to see this here best executed. Godspeed makers.
@taha_tweets totally get you. We all have been there I guess =) Thanks, we appreciate for your feedback!

This is great!!!
And yes obviously images beyond the current record player...
but more importantly, how about the ability to classify these beyond tags.. meaning a way on the left or top to have 'Folders' which correspond to tags - preferably even user customizable like playlists in iTunes kinda of concept...
@exlemor We definitely need to figure out a way or better organising all these sounds. Even our current page needs a proper algorithm to make a balance between popularity and recently added.
Right now we are using elastic search for a simple search but unless you're looking for something in specific it's very difficult for users to explore different and unknown sounds to them.
User playlists will require login that we currently don't have, but we are planning to possibly add this in order to make it easier for users to control their uploaded sounds.
So, playlist concept sounds great to me indeed. I'll take this discussion with our team. Thanks!
