A non-open source free software without a privacy policy makes one doubt the software.

Today I downloaded and started using Station. So far, very promising. I'm always looking for productivity tools and this is like a dock for all of them in a standalone application on my Macbook, allowing me also to liberate my browser from some of the always-on tabs like Gmail ! Hopefully Flock App will get onboard soon too!
@juan_camilo_sosa Flock App? OK, noted. We'll let you know when integrated!

I have tried Franz and other sorts of unified workapp.
Station is definitely one that makes a difference !
I'm not sure it will be a reflex to open Station instead of Chrome/Firefox/Safari to find quick info ! The future will tell us :)
Pros:
It's really convient to have everything in one place, with a great UX :)
Cons:
I'd like to have extensions from Chrome for Gmail, Hubspot and other apps.

Couldn't agree more, the extensions are so valuable when it comes to products like Gmail.

Downloaded the app and will try it, but not wanting to be negative... these apps keep all apps open using RAM and CPU where as individual apps can be closed and only opened when needed and not using constant resources.
Will give it a try but Frantz (electron made I believe) was a app that used too many resources and gave up on it.
Hello @androidlove 👋
I definitely share your experience with this kind of app! That's why, in Station, we addressed this issue! We idle applications you have not used for long and repop it as soon as you need it. That's transparent for the user, but it definitely has an impact on RAM and CPU!
So, try it, and let us know how it feels! :)

@al3xstrat Awesome, will try it longer, but already ease of use and overall Station has beat Franz...
Appear.in doesn't seem to work - the cam (video) and sound don't launch.
Would love that in focus mode the screen become black or with a cool image - so that I can't see the screen, just focus on my work.
Pros:Replace easily Franz. UI is sleek. Really nice to focus in one place.
Cons:I'd like to bookmark myself the "tabs" of the same app, being able to do it manually.
