Aikido has been rebranded STRATxAI and has just sent out an email (on 22 Dec 2023) to all the Appsumo LTD users that they are stopping the personal investing service in Feb 2024. History, the platform started as Aikido on Appsumo, and had rebranded themselves earlier this year (2023) to STRATxAI. After the transition, the engagement on discord channel plummeted as they started to shift towards B2B offerings. Today, they had announced that they are shutting down the personal investing service after having used AppSumo to bootstrap their business and get it going, and dropped the people who had supported their development. The running period is just over 1-2 years after they have stopped the offer on Appsumo. This is a demonstration of bad faith, and also their terrible business ethics. Within hours of their announcement of stopping the personal investing services, they had without notice deleted their discord channel and mutliple other social media channels - another demonstration of their (lack of) trustworthiness.

They started as Aikido on Appsumo, now after rebranding to StratxAI, they had promised to keep our plans and migrated us to the new platform, now they have decided to shutdown the service for personal investing. The email will follow this - Dear Quant Investing Community, Today, we're reaching out with important news that we will be discontinuing our personal investing service in 2024. The investing landscape has evolved and changed over the past few years and we have evolved with it, developing more specialised elements and higher touch features. Despite enthusiastic early adoption by personal investors, it no longer makes sense for us to compete in the consumer market. We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for being a part of our quant investing community. Your enthusiasm and support have been invaluable to us on this journey. The decision to discontinue our personal investing service was not made lightly. From the very beginning, our founders set out to democratize investing, and while we may be closing one chapter, our commitment to breaking boundaries in the world of finance remains unwavering. Acknowledgment to AppSumo Lifetime Users: To our AppSumo Lifetime users, who invested in the lifetime of our product, we extend a special acknowledgment. We understand that you had hoped for a longer product lifetime, and we genuinely appreciate your support throughout this journey. Service Continuation until February 19, 2024 You can continue to login and use the service as normal until Monday 19th February 2024. Subscription Payments We have already ceased taking subscription payments, existing users are not being billed for using the service in these remaining months. Control Over Your Investments Your live investment portfolio and cash sit in your own e-broker account, controlled by you and not us. Rebalancing Your Portfolio You can login to rebalance your portfolio at any time before the final date and get your final positions. Account Deletion Option If you wish to delete your personal account and all of its data, you will find the option in your account settings. We know that you may have further questions and we are here to assist in any way we can, to make the next few months as smooth as possible for you.
