Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Piyush, the maker of Stroll. The idea came from a simple observation. Every Sunday I'd check my screen time report. Every Monday I'd forget about it. It showed me the problem, but it never helped in the moment I instinctively opened Instagram or Reddit again. So instead of building another screen-time app based on timers or hard blocks, I wondered: "What if screen time had to be earned?" That's how Stroll was born. It turns your steps into screen time. You decide your daily step goal, choose how many steps earn a minute, and pick the apps you want to slow down. The app is already available on Android and iPhone, and I'm still actively improving it based on user feedback. I added social competition to an anti-social-media app. It worked (so far).

What's one feature that would make you actually stick with a screen-time app?

I've tried a lot of screen-time tools over the years.

Most of them worked for a day or two before I either ignored the reminders or disabled the restrictions altogether.

While building Stroll, I kept coming back to one question:

What would make someone actually stick with healthier phone habits for months, not just a week?
