Hi Product Hunt, I'm Omar, the maker of Tanda.
I built Tanda because I'm too lazy to fill in forms and manage my finances. Logging a coffee meant four taps: amount, category, date, save. I stopped using expense trackers.
I wanted to say “sixty pounds, groceries” and put my phone away. It was the ability I kept wishing Siri had. Tanda turns that sentence into a categorized expense, ready to confirm.
I built the features around how I manage money:
Multi-currency for expats. Tanda converts each expense into the base currency you choose and keeps the exchange rate from the expense date. I live across currencies, so this mattered most to me.
Cash and multiple accounts. I use both, and Tanda lets me track them in one place without linking my bank accounts.
A simple spending screen. I can open Tanda and see where my money went without interpreting a complicated chart.
Shared Vaults. My partner and I can log expenses into one shared space and see the same running total.
An AI assistant. I can ask, “How much did I spend on food this month?” and get a direct answer.
You choose how much information leaves your phone:
Standard: Third-party services process the audio and financial information. This provides the fastest and most accurate result.
On-Device: Audio stays on your phone. Tanda sends the transcript to a third-party service to turn it into an expense, intent, or AI query.
Full Privacy: Audio and financial information stay on your device. Speech recognition and expense processing run on-device, including in airplane mode.
Tanda has a free plan with no card required. Pro is optional.

The offline sync thing is actually pretty clutch, tried logging expenses on a plane with no wifi and it just worked. Multi-currency support is a nice touch too, way less friction than my old setup.
@altmelis74860 I’m glad you gave Tanda the plane test so soon. It stores each expense on your phone while you’re offline and syncs it when you land. I built it for dead zones, whether you’re on a plane or miles from a signal.
Multi-currency is pure selfishness. I’m an expat, and I got tired of converting expenses each time I paid in another currency. Curious what you ran before this.
