Review Todoist?
Reviews portray Todoist as fast, reliable, and delightfully simple, with natural‑language input, strong sync, and flexible projects/labels. Users praise its cross‑platform consistency, generous free tier, and integrations, often preferring it over heavier tools. Some want deeper automation and native AI assistance, plus refinements like start dates and richer collaboration guidance. Notably, makers of
I've been using it for many years and I love all the features, especially how it works in terms of the recurrence of tasks and the use of natural language.

It was amazing for years... now it seems to be falling behind with AI agents, thought I have not found a better alternative. It needs a LLM operator to whom you can talk (or chat) and understands the context of all your tasks and projects so that it can modify them. Like you would tell chatgpt.
Still the best app for the handling of tasks and tasks alone. There's apps that do more, but they don't handle tasks with the simplicity and power of Todoist and with its affordable price point, it's a bit of a no brainer for me to keep this one around.
I've used todoist forever as my main task manager. I use Defer alongside it (and various other tools) to manage all my tasks across work and personal projects.
Super user freidnly, neat and clear interface with good and necessary features. However, would be perfect to be able to collaborate with other accounts.
I used to be a big Todoist user then dropped off for a bit. Ramble hooked me back in and it's never been easier to add Todos to my list. I have a quick button press to ramble plus and MCP connection with @Poke.com so my little assistant can remind be what I have or have not yet completed. Overall great to be back on the app.
What needs improvement
expensive premium version (2)missing Apple Calendar integration (2)missing apple reminders integration (1)
I get the need for paid tiers but some functionalities like tagging are free on other apps.
