The first all-in-one, AI-native game engine. An AI agent builds your AAA-style 3D game. You can edit it directly in a synced visual editor. No code. Auto-rigging, multiplayer, and 1-click publish built in. Uses ~80% fewer tokens and generates faster than Claude Opus 5.5 + Unity.

This is so cool! I wonder if one can publish a full fledged game to Steam built with Wanaka Studio.
@charlestehio Our web version lets you export your game as a shareable link. More export options are coming with our upcoming app—stay tuned!
does it work well with very short prompts?
@0x47xavier Yep! Something like "a cat escaping a haunted house" is enough to get a playable first version, and the AI fills in the rest with its own guesses.
Or go as detailed as you want: rules, art style, how the ghosts behave. Short or long, it's up to you. Either way you keep tweaking it by chatting ("make the ghosts slower", "add a timer") or editing it yourself
@0x47xavier Yep!
@0x47xavier Yes! Even in Lite mode, Wanaka can turn a one-line prompt into a high-quality, playable game demo. Our testing https://eval.wanaka.app/
It’s great for capturing an idea whenever inspiration strikes, then expanding and refining it as you play.
@0x47xavier Even just a single image works!
Can we create our own background and characters or we can only select from the built options?
@harini_mukesh Yes!! You can use your own background and characters.
@harini_mukesh Sure, you can totally make your own characters! You can create them using photos from your album, and even the build-in characters let you customize their style and outfits.
@harini_mukesh Yes, you can make your own. Describe a character or a background and the AI generates it in 3D, then keep tweaking until it looks right. The built-in assets are just there for a quick start, you don't have to use them.
We also just added rigging, so your own characters can move and animate too.
I like that the pitch includes game logic and audio, not only assets. A pretty scene is nice, but I want to know how quickly it becomes something people can play
@dvoretskii Pretty quick! About 20-30 minutes after your first prompt, you've got a playable loop with controls, game logic and audio.
Here's what it looks like after some polishing: https://wanaka.games/g/gam_0aI83TP5Upzdq0b
One of our early users made this, a uni student in Germany with zero gamedev experience. It's a Jazzpunk-style first-person slingshot stealth prank game across 7 New York scenes, packed with internet memes. About 6-7 hours from scratch.
Amazing, I always wanted to be a game developer but the learning curve was steep! Can it also handle cinematic cutscenes? or is it planned for future releases?
the creator still being able to edit things matters
@coin_red 100%. A prompt can start things off, but it’s the creator’s taste and judgment that bring the game to life. T
@coin_red Yes!! so we provide a very useful and easy to use editor for creators
I have no clue how to make games, so being able to try out my own ideas with Wanaka quickly is pretty cool.
@sagi6s Thank you!! yes, the wanaka agent can give you full game plans based on your ideas
@sagi6s That’s literally why we built Wanaka, bringing the barrier down so anyone can just build and play.
