Loving the look of this so far, this can be big. I'm curious @justinkan@ranidu if there are any planned incentives (coins or otherwise) to either be the first to ask someone a question or to invite people and be rewarded when they ask/answer a question. Interested to see how this grows.
@soerenes@justinkan Hi Thomas! thanks for the question and great feedback. Yes. We definitely plan to allow our users to earn coins by taking various actions like sharing videos, asking great questions etc.
The app looks beautiful and easy to use! The only thing that I'd change is perhaps just the profile screen. I thought some of the layout elements were off. Other than that, awesome job!

Too many asks for permissions then introduced to a pay structure. How about a freebie before I pay for something I just installed.
The product is beautiful! Great UX. I'm fighting the internal battle to pay $ for more content. A couple of the answers to questions did not really answer the question or provided unsatisfactory answers so I had immediate remorse for spending coins on those questions. I'd love to have the ability to get coin back for unsatisfactory answers (with a cap on that ability).
Also, the SillyKan Valley episode is amazing! Can't wait for more!
This is seriously what I wanted. I put whale under the "business" folder of my iPhone instead of "social" like I did with Snapchat. Just a thought. I guess I like to separate the social from the business world... at least with respect to how I use message apps.
I find Q&As/AMAs in general can get messy as a lot of q's can get lost in the shuffle/get buried. I dig the idea behind extrinsically rewarding those who ask good questions (garbage in, garbage out). Seems pretty neat! I'd be interested to see this launch in the celebrity space as I know a lot of celebs love to engage in Q&A sessions with their fans.
