I've gotten into the app a little bit, and if I'm understanding right, you can pay to ask a question - and then if it takes off, and other users pay to unlock, you (as the original asker) get a cut, too. That's very interesting.
@adamokane Right on, that's the idea Adam. Both the asker & answerer get a cut of paid "unlocks". So by asking a great question, you can potentially make a return!

Whale looks fun and useful. I was a fan of Quora, but it never seemed to make it outside the SV bubble. This looks a lot more promising. I'm taking questions for free.
