On the practical side, we designed Whyser to make it incredibly easy for participants: no scheduling, no back-and-forth — just click and go. Since interviews are moderated by our AI, people can join at their own pace. It lowers the friction to participate by combining the speed of a survey with the depth and engagement of a real conversation.
As for why people join, there are a few common reasons. Many receive compensation — whether that’s monetary or platform perks — And, we’ve also seen real excitement from folks who enjoy getting a first look at new ideas, sharing their perspective, and having a say in shaping the products they care about.

The interviews can get surprisingly deep. The AI asks thoughtful, natural follow-ups that dig deeper to uncover the real story, just like a skilled moderator.
