About

I spent eight years at OLIO, a two-sided sharing marketplace, moving from first commercial hire to leading international expansion, strategic partnerships, and impact strategy across a 7.5M-user platform. I'm at my best where growth ambitions outpace structure: launching markets without a playbook, finding the data signal that unlocks investment, and running cross-functional programms where clarity and follow-through are the job.

Has automated software ever created more work for your team instead of saving time?

We automated a tedious weekly task thinking it would fix our workload. At first it looked great and saved a bunch of manual effort.

Turns out the system couldn't handle small edge cases so now we have to manually review every single output anyway. It didn't really save time, just moved the work to a different step.

How do you decide which tasks are actually safe to automate without adding extra checks?

When did vibe coding become actually useful for you?

I have been trying vibe coding more lately

Its crazy how fast you can go from an idea to something that actually works

But getting the first version out is easy

Making the code clean enough to keep building on is a different story

Is reading generated tests first the fastest way to catch hidden AI mistakes?

Spent months reviewing AI-written code line by line like a pull request, and it was draining my speed.

Recently switched to checking the test cases first instead. It instantly shows what the AI thinks the logic is supposed to do especially when it completely misunderstands the business rules.

Anyone else checking tests before touching the actual implementation code?
