I've been trying to understand how fellow SAAS builders measure the longer-term impact of a launch.
Upvotes tell you that people noticed your product, but they don't necessarily tell you whether it solved a problem well enough for someone to keep using it. Right?
I'm curious about how you evaluate that gap. Do you focus on returning users, conversations with new customers, paid conversions, or something else?
Especially interested in how you decide what to improve after the initial attention dies down.
I m preparing for a Product Hunt launch, but I haven t shared the product publicly yet. I m considering keeping it private until launch day, while using the next two weeks to talk with makers and learn from other launches.
For people who have launched before, did staying quiet help, or did it make the launch harder? What did you share beforehand without revealing the full product?
Hi everyone, I'm Wajahat, and I'm new to Product Hunt.
I'm building CitedOrNot (citedornot.com).
CitedOrNot asks the AI engines the questions your buyers ask, keeps the full answer, shows which competitor was named instead, and suggests what to publish so the next answer can include you. It works for any kind of brand, not just SAAS.
I'm here to learn how this community launches well, and to answer questions about how AI engines choose which brands to name.
