About

Hi, I'm Holly, founder and CEO of WorkOnward and founder of DHD Consulting. I've worked in recruiting since 2015. Helping employers hire and people find work inspired me to build WorkOnward, a map-based hiring platform connecting small businesses with local talent. I'm also building Tahoe, an AI recruiting operating system, and HollyOS, an assistant for busy founders. Everything I build starts with challenges I've experienced firsthand as a recruiter, founder, and small business owner. My mission is to make hiring more human, make running a business easier, and create more opportunities for people who are too often overlooked. I'd love to connect with fellow founders, recruiters, and people building for small businesses.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Holly - recruiter turned founder

Hi everyone! I've been in recruiting since 2015 and now run a small staffing firm while building tools for busy founders and small business owners.

I've mostly been lurking here, so I'm finally saying hello. Looking forward to checking out what you're all building and swapping notes.

My name is Michael. I'm turning my agency into apps!

Hey friends, my name is Michael, I live in Toronto and I've been in digital marketing since 2010. I grew up in Vancouver seeing the rise of HootSuite and other local SaaS products. I used to host tweetups as well as Behance Portfolio Reviews among other community events.

Fast forward to now, I'm nearly 10 years into my digital marketing agency, Apples & Oranges Analytics and Marketing, alongside my business partner, Noor Siddiqui, and a great team of marketers. We do social, email, SEO/AEO, ads, and everything Shopify, which is how we ended up building our first Shopify app, KeywordGenius.ai

Hey everyone. I'm Martha, and I run customer success.

I started on the phones, answering support calls one at a time. I never quite left that mindset behind. The thing about being on support is that you hear the truth before anyone else does. The person who calls about a small bug but mentions in passing that their team is restructuring. The account that goes quiet after using the product daily for a year. None of that shows up in a health score, and all of it shows up on a call.

Now my job is supposed to be preventing those calls instead of answering them. Most of my work is spotting the quiet customer who is about to leave, usually months before they know it themselves. The ones who do not complain are the ones I worry about most. A complaint is a gift. Silence is a warning.
