Why we built AI that prepares you for hard conversations instead of replacing them
... broader question here for anyone building in the AI space: are we building tools that make humans more capable, or tools that make humans more dependent? Would love to hear from other builders thinking about this tension. Comment from

We stopped measuring engagement and our product got better
... what success looks like. Not every product should optimize for time spent. Curious if anyone else has experimented with outcome-based metrics instead of engagement. What did you measure, and how did it change your product decisions? Comment from

The feature that almost killed our product was the one users asked for the most
... months, our most requested feature at Murror was a chat function. Users wanted to talk to the AI the way they talk to a friend. It seemed obvious. Every
competitor
had it. Every feedback form mentioned it. So we built it. And within two weeks, our core metrics started dropping. Session length went down. Return rate went down. The thing users said they wanted was actively making the product worse. Here is what we discovered when we dug into ... ... what the solution should look like. That gap between the expressed need and the right solution is where product intuition lives. Has anyone else experienced this? Built something users demanded only to find it hurt the product? The biggest lie in product building: "ship fast, learn later"
... meant. The first is cheap and fast. The second is slow and uncomfortable. Almost every team defaults to the first because it feels like learning without requiring you to sit with someone who doesn't love what you built.
Mona
's experience is a good illustration. The analytics said "opens once, never returns." That's a signal, not an explanation. The explanation required five hours of real conversation. The reframe isn't "slow down." It's: choose the right learning ... ... build something called DevMarathon. It s basically a 72-hour constrained build process where clarity comes first, then speed. Funny enough, adding constraints made the outcomes way better than just shipping fast . Comment from Muhammed Gazali Ye ilmen(@mgy_programmer): @

The one marketing lesson I learned from building an AI product that no one talks about
... nothing compelling, the problem isn't your marketing. It's your product. What's been your experience marketing AI products? Has anyone else found that leading with the human outcome works better than leading with the tech? Comment from

How long does it usually take to upgrade your product before releasing it on Product Hunt?
... cycle is faster - usually 1-2 weeks for updates. Biggest challenge is doing everything alone: dev, marketing, support. But seeing users love the product makes it worth it! Good luck with your relaunch! Comment from Viktoriia (@virtualviki): @

_murror I run the code through multiple AI models and ask each one for a deep audit - security issues, edge cases, performance, code structure. Then I fix all the issues they find. Different AIs catch different things, so using several gives ... ... pretty solid coverage. Plus I test everything manually before release. It's not perfect, but it works surprisingly well! Remember: You are the one holding the key to your decisions, not AI.
... feel - When to say "no, that's not right" The moment you let AI lead without a clear vision, you end up with a generic product that solves nothing specific. AI accelerates execution. Humans own the direction. Comment from

It’s not where you work, It’s how you work.
... same time, I do feel that being around the team in person gives better context. You pick up on nuances, priorities, and decision dynamics that are hard to fully replicate remotely. For me, it s less about remote
vs
on-site and more about matching the setup to the phase of work and life. Staying adaptable is the real skill. Comment from Vera Serova(@yellow_yetti): to be honest, i am not the biggest fan of remote work/studying the work ... ... 10pm. so I'm definitely team office work. but I see that it's more of my own issue that I struggle with concentrating and all that, trying to work on it tbh Comment from Nika(@busmark_w_nika): @
