Work That Runs Itself

gm legends, happy Tuesday.

Here’s today’s lineup: Softr Workflows brings automation straight into your apps so you can build triggers, loops, and AI logic without ever leaving the editor; Structa turns database design into a visual conversation, letting you describe tables in plain English and see the schema come to life; and Termdock gives the terminal a serious glow-up with multi-workspace management, Git visualization, and side-by-side AI tools that actually stay in flow.

Work that runs itself

Softr Workflows lets you build automations and AI agents inside your existing Softr apps. You can trigger actions, add loops, and filter logic without leaving the editor, or describe what you want in plain English and let it build the draft for you.

🔥 Our Take: It’s that rare update that fixes the one thing everyone pretended wasn’t a problem. No more copy-pasting between tools or duct-taping integrations together, just actual workflows that live where the work happens.

FROM THE FORUMS

Level Up Your Skills

Koshima Satija asks: “What is the most underrated skill for startup founders in 2025?”

Koshima’s vote is for the ability to build experiments so founders can test the right variables, get the right feedback, and get rid of bad ideas quickly. Commenters are chiming in with a whole bunch of soft skills that could benefit founders — from “context switching” to “knowing when to ignore advice.”

Here’s some advice: read the post.

Databases, meet your match

Structa lets you describe your database in plain English and instantly get production-ready schemas with visual ER diagrams. Click to edit, fix validation errors, export to SQL or TypeScript. It’s designed to cut the drag out of the process.

🔥 Our Take: Designing a database always felt like wrestling with a spreadsheet that had too many dimensions. This just drops you into a workspace where you talk about tables and it shows them back. It’s cleaner, faster and makes me actually want to tune the structure instead of just tolerating it.

Keep the terminal, lose the chaos

Termdock is a terminal-centric dev environment that pulls everything into one place — multi-workspace management, Git visualization, and up to four windows plus PiP for Docker, Redis, logs, and tests. It supports drag-and-paste to the CLI, auto-compresses large text, and even lets you deep search symbols and dependencies with Tree-sitter AST.

🔥 Our Take: Feels like someone finally got fed up with juggling terminals, IDEs, and random Git tools, then just built what they wanted. It’s not reinventing the terminal,  it’s giving it an upgrade. Everything’s faster, tighter, and where it should’ve been all along.
