This is a cool tool. If you're a student or do a lot of research, you need a tool that can analyze a lot of information and provide you with real sources. Afforai does this well & very easily. This is a tool you'll want to have in your back pocket.

One tool has many uses. This tool is very efficient by combining a reference manager with LLM capabilities. I hope this tool will continue to develop and be successful.

As a student, I must say the product is incredibly useful

Born as a search tool for academic purposes, this app is very useful when you have two or more documents in English or other languages (I'm using Italian documents). If you have only one short document, you can conduct your search with ChatGPT. I categorized over 200 small and large PDFs (up to 10MB) in folders and subfolders, and now they are always ready for my searches. I can select a folder with all the documents inside or choose specific ones. I was surprised to see that all the documents are processed in a few minutes, which naturally happens only once when you upload the files. I like that citations are found at the end of each paragraph, and with a click, it jumps to the original document. I can share the output, including the citation, with a simple click. Last week, Afforai released a big update, and I'm discovering new features. For now, the only con is the very busy main page. Most features are on the main page, and there is no traditional menu. Unfortunately, the page is not responsive, making it very complicated to run Afforai on a mobile device. I have tried similar apps, but none come close to it. Afforai was unique and now is years ahead of its competitors.

I purchased Afforia AI when it was still very much in its infancy, and after using it in several commercial research projects, I purchased copies for other staff. It pays for itself overnight. It's a brilliant RAG-type service for researchers. An example use case: A client asked me for details on the link between specific training modalities (ways of teaching skills) and employee retention. My gut feeling suggested this would be impossible to answer directly because there are many, many other factors to consider regarding training, staff satisfaction, and retention. Using Afforia and some additional manual searching, I found 680 documents related to various aspects of the question, uploaded them into Afforia, and then used it to locate the 16 papers that mattered to me. That was about 90 minutes of work—something that would have taken the better part of a week previously. In addition, I was able to craft prompts, extract and summarize the factors that should be considered for the client and was able to review them and fine-tune with my insights. Basically, Afforia is like having a dedicated grad-student assistant on call. Since its introduction, Afforia has only increased its flexibility and functionality. Connecting it to OpenRouter with 'bring your own keys' also allows huge flexibility in analysis and summarization. I highly recommend it.

These folks are extremely good communicators about their product and in their support. They are passionate about what they do, which is obvious when you reach out to them. Very pleased with them.

I am more than happy using Afforai for my daily academic routine. I am pretty sure Afforai team will take it much further to the far next level. Good luck guys.
