Scheduling links work well in certain situations. But they fall short when a meeting is high-stakes, complex to set up, or is a socially nuanced dance. Share your availability in plain text and strike the right balance between efficiency and automation.
Congrats on the launch @phil_schwengel and @richardpoelderl! I'm typically a big fan of normal scheduling links but I also have my grudges:
1. Most calendar links give the other person endless possibilities to schedule meetings with me - they don't optimize for when it's convenient for me and people may pester me with follow up meetings
2. I sometimes feel a little "cheap" using a link with high-profile people - prefer sending written slots then
3. I occasionally do consulting via companies like GLG, some of them ask you to indicate your timeslots in a written way which makes it super annoying to do manually. I really like AgreeTo for speeding that up
Looking forward to the next features that you guys build!
The best way to manage a calendar is to have no calendar. But that's a pipe dream for most of us. In the meanwhile, I will always be a torchbearer for solutions like these that make our lives easier! Love the features and capabilities of this extension.
Congratulations on the launch, guys! :)
@phil_schwengel, very nice creative :). There are a lot of scheduling tools, but AgreeTo seems very interesting to test out. Congratulations on the launch.
