I've been using Akaunting for freelancing for the past 2 years and it meets my needs well, they are always having sales as well which I appreciate! The new version is a welcome addition and can't wait to see what's next in store! Great piece of software, thanks to the contributors for your efforts!

This is very bad accounting software, and very bad company, and they don't have any mechanism to delete the account and refund the outstanding amount of money and I have a very bad experience with them
I subscribed with them and I forgot to cancel the subscription and they automatically charged me for the renewal and at the same date I cancel the subscription and asked for them for refund and they refused to refund me and also I asked them to delete my credit card details and they didn't reply and they don't have any option for this. More than this I asked them for their license copy to make a complaint and they refused.
I advise any person to think a thousand times before subscribe with them
@abdelhamid_mohamed Hi Abdelhamid,
Thanks for your feedback.
A team member reached out a few days ago with the notification that your credit card had been deleted from Akaunting. Perhaps, you somehow missed this.
There are several scenarios in which we issue a refund and still working to improve on these. However, your situation is something the team is still looking to expand on.
Unfortunately, a refund isn’t possible now, as stated in our Terms of Service (https://akaunting.com/terms).
It’s worthy of note that because renewal processes are automatic, it’s best for users always to cancel subscriptions before the renewal date. If users forget to cancel, they are charged for another renewal period. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you and would like to be of assistance in the best way possible.
A team member will be in touch soon to offer assistance.

@halim_t Sorry Mr. Halim, this is not the truth
The truth is (1) Your website when designed not having any mechanism to delete the credit card (2) Your website does not have any option to deactivating the automatic subscription (3) You don't have any clear and disclosed policy for the refund similar to the respected websites (4) Your accounting package is very, very weak and undependable
This is my feedback to all the people willing to subscribe to your website, so please take care all and don't fall in this trap.
Love the new Akaunting experience. I've been using Akaunting since Wave stopped supporting outside of the US and Canada. And at first, it was not easy for me to get used to Akaunting but I got used to it in time. This new experience outshines not only the previous version but also other accounting software I have tried so far. Kudos to the team!
I would change the name of the company. It's hard to understand what the word means just by reading it. Otherwise, this is an amazing tool!!!

I think its a great clean looking product, it generally performs well and is easy to use.
I wish there was a addon for bank feeds as this is an important feature and available in most accounting software both free and paid versions. I understand you need to create some revenue but at the same time you guys need to implement and package that is between the free and the full package.
There are many solutions out there that are more affordable for smaller business users. £0 per month or £36 per month is a big difference £432 per year. Which is a lot of money just if need bank feeds on top of the free edition!
I would probably use an alternative product if I'm honest. just another subscription! Well they all add up....
I think you would generate more revenue if you offered the plugins / addons in bundles, 3, 5, 10 and all for set prices, users could choose which ones are relevant to their needs pay accordingly. And scrap the pro version.
You have to look at the competition for pricing, similar to or completely different approach.
Quckfile - free and paid £54 per year ( both have bank feeds)
Quickbooks - starting from £12 + vat all have bank feeds
Sage - starting from £12 + vat all have bank feeds
Xero - starting from £12 + vat all have bank feeds
The list goes on.....
Don't get me wrong this is meant as constructive criticism, and I think the product you have definitely has got legs and will go a long way, clean and well presented, big thumbs up from me!
