Hi everyone,
Andrew here from MicroAcquire! Startup acquisition marketplace!
MicroAcquire helps startups find buyers. Simple as that. We’ll help you start conversations that lead to an acquisition in just 30 days – for free.
When my company Bizness Apps was acquired in 2018 by a PE firm, it was a bittersweet moment. On the one hand, I’d successfully bootstrapped my company to $10m/ARR+ and a life-changing acquisition. On the other, I’d sold something that took years of blood, sweat, and tears to build. Do I have any regrets? Far from it.
I'm here to answer questions about building your own business, bootstrapping startups, marketing, branding, sales, hiring, startup ideas, acquisitions, and anything else related to startups.

i had an agent generate a clean bug fix. So I reverted the chagne to be sure, the test was still green ) The test never actually exercised the bug in the first place. Plus if you do not watch the test fail before the fix, passing means nothing.
Building with coding agents, failure does not break my trust. Real problem is agent saying everything fine, then I find skipped migration ). Loud error easy to fix. False reassurance wastes hours of debuging
Andrew, I’m building a side project called Monument Patron — an interactive digital book of world monuments where each monument can have one permanent patron attached to its plate.
The model is intentionally simple: one digital location, one patron, one-time payment.
From an acquisition perspective, would a product like this become more interesting if it proves strong revenue early, or would you care more about things like unique positioning, organic traffic, repeat visitors, and brand/community value?
I’m curious what signal would make you think: “this is small now, but potentially worth acquiring later.”
