We're bringing the 5-minute phone call back.
It's how previous generations got shit done, had time for 5 meetings before breakfast, rarely misunderstood each other, connected with the world, and called strangers for help—with energy to spare for the evening.
Hello!
We believe that a five-minute conversation can change the world – we just don’t know which one. So we built an app where you can have lots of them.
Say hello to Anyone — a radically different networking app. There’s no messaging, no scheduling, no following, and definitely no video — just five-minute phone calls. All conversations are private and centred around a pre-defined topic that makes it easy to jump on a call with anyone.
☎️ Call anyone for feedback and advice.
Search or scroll through the feed to find interesting people to talk to. Pick a topic and jump straight into conversation.
🌎 Join a Switchboard to grow your professional network.
A Switchboard is a speed networking event, where you jump from conversation to conversation as we match you with relevant people.
📞 Get introduced to new people every day with Butt Dial.
Once a day, we introduce you to someone new and give you a well-crafted topic to talk about. You never know who might pick up.
📇 Build your personal rolodex to get further faster.
Star a profile to get notified when someone is free to talk. Build a world-class rolodex with people that can help out.
⏰ Set up office hours and start taking calls on Anyone.
Set up your availability when it’s convenient for you to take calls, and start sharing your knowledge and experience.
˗ˏˋ PRODUCT HUNT EXCLUSIVE ˎˊ˗
Today, we’re making short usernames with three and four letters available to register – so sign up to claim your handle on Anyone today.

@alfred_malmros I’m excited to see that Anyone can change the world :)
Are there any kinds of interaction/advice
/calls that seem successful which you hadn’t anticipated?
@jackbro so so so many. I think mental health and people getting endorphins from talking to strangers and genuinely finding new energy after a 5-minute call was the most amazing.

I love meeting new people, and Anyone has become a go-to app for that. I’ve easily made over 100 calls! A lot of young people find networking difficult, but being able to connect over quick phone calls makes it fun and simple. Excited to see the app open up to the public!
Good morning mates! Well done on getting Anyone on Product Hunt! 😉
I'm going to give this product a try. I've got just one inquiry. What was the most rewarding part of the process?
@new_user_126293be17 Finding out what conversation topics really makes people connect and reveal new unexpected things about themselves has been deeply rewarding. Also seeing how much you can get done in 5-minutes! Thanks for your support!
@new_user_126293be17 The most rewarding part of the process was when the calls started coming in. From brilliant people from all over the world, that are setting out to do something new and use the app to get further faster.
@new_user_126293be17
Ideating and designing new formats for people to have great conversations has been a highlight for me.
Then getting to see new connections play out with people across the world is even better! Some of the engineering challenges have been fun too working on a real-time audio app.

Have been using Anyone since the early days and made some incredible connections. What I love about it is that they’re not the type of transactional connections you make while awkwardly “building your network” on LinkedIn. It’s talking Aristotle with someone who just happens to run a VC. Or talking family issues with someone who used to work at the White House. It’s people first, CVs later (if at all). Maybe this is what networking should be and we’ve just been doing it wrong!
@kristoffer_ahlstrom_vij "Talk Aristotle with a VC" – an intriguing value prop! Really appreciate this thoughtful feedback, Kristoffer – means so much.
@paulokhtn Funnily enough, there's proper research coming out of Harvard that's studied conversation design and concluded that ALL parties in a conversation feel that it should end earlier than it does :)
haha love the message behind this! I am immediately intrigued.. gonna have to have me some 5 minute phone calls with strangers this week. Congrats on the launch Anyone and everybody!
@alfred_malmros Congratulations on launching Anyone, a networking app that focuses on 5-minute phone calls centered around pre-defined topics. Well done & Looking forward to seeing the develop further.

Big fan of Anyone! Since I started using it I landed an amazing work opportunity, connected with industry leaders for invaluable advice and made new friends around the world. I especially appreciate the conversation prompts to spark meaningful connections!
This is the ultimate sounding board! I love the fact that I can literally access expert advice at any time and quickly get to the core of what I need. All without the need for a warm intro or the overhanging debt of gratitude.
