Been following these guys since their launch in Sweden earlier this year - exciting to see them now hit the global market!

Pros:

Flexible, easy to use, great open date search function, fun new approach to travel search

Cons:

As a user, getting used to a new way of travel search - then again, it's needed :)

Anton Tyulenev
Hi Emelie! Thanks a lot for your support and feedback! :) Yes, it's a challenging task sometimes to break old habits, but we hope it's worth it so we can really help you to find flights easier!

I book most of my flight tickets with Avionero and always getting the best deal! #winning

Pros:

It does really find the best and cheapest flights!

Cons:

More features please! Sometimes it can be a little bit slow.

Anton Tyulenev
Hi Yasmine, thanks for the feedback! Yes, the site could be slow, it's something we're fighting with since beginning and it's improving, slowly, but improving :) We also have a looot of features ahead: multi-route, better filtering, weather forecasts, etc.

This looks AMAZING. I was searching exact travel periods and I totally missed the point. The flexible period was the crucial feature that sets this apart, giving all the stats and data to the cheapest flights. This is really useful!
Anton Tyulenev
@swiftpolar thanks, Lee! Also try trip period, where you could select a period when you can possibly travel and for how many days you want to be away :)

Hello. How is AI involved in this product? I'm a developer, and from what I see in here, it's just a matter of crawling and displaying the best results for the user. I hope I'm wrong.
Anton Tyulenev
@mihai_mangu Hi Mihai! Thanks for your question, missed it somehow :) If we speak about looking for a best flight in a scope of thousands of combinations ("from New York to France in August for a week"), it's not just a matter of crawling all the options, it's simply not possible. So here how our AI takes part: first it determines what to search, based on user persona & requirements, and then it defines what to present and then it decides what to present after that, analysing your activity. @lars_kristensson could speak much more about it, he was working with AI in gaming :)
Lars Kristensson
@mihai_mangu Yes, as Anton is saying, we are searching a space of possible options that are prohibitively large to go through exhaustively, by magnitudes. So what we do is that we are tying to find the options in this huge space that are most likely to fit your particular preferences, in a kind of hierarchical manner using multiple phases of both predictive analytics and set theory.

I love the tab feature, and being able to search more flexible. Also great personalized destination suggestions.

Pros:

Really easy to use and great features!

Cons:

Can't really see any cons so far.

Anton Tyulenev
Thanks Anni! Really glad you are enjoying destination suggestions, we've put a lot of efforts into picking the right photos which will show destination soul and vibe.

Nice project! Like the design and flexible dates feature. Do you plan to use map more? Now it’s kind of empty with only few dots.
Anton Tyulenev
@roman_kirichenko Thanks for your feedback, Roman! Yes, the map is not used fully right now, we are planning to show not only cities dots, but also add an information about prices & flight durations. Also we want to use a map as another entry point for a traveller to pick his desired destination. But how did you use our flexible search? :)
Tabish Gilani
Bless, Southwest prices are shown! 😂 Haha, this is a great tool. I can foresee this being extremely useful as a chrome extension! Keep up the good work, @lars_kristensson @lards
Anton Tyulenev
@tabish_gilani thanks a lot for your support, Tabish!

Will be using this to search for cheaper flights, I've been using Skyscanner which doesn't store previous searches in session for me to go back to.

Pros:

Great UI/UX, smooth singe page app, saves previous searches

Cons:

None

Hello, why do you implement AI in your project?
Anton Tyulenev
@bitrewards Hi! The main reason to use AI is to offload the user. Depending on how flexible you are with your plans, the complexity and amount of mental work rises. If you need to pick between several dates or between several destinations, it's one thing. But you actually also need to pick a particular flight for your travel dates as well, and usually it's 1000+ flights to chose from. Our main goal in this project is to present a user the flight which he was looking for from the first shot. You enter your criterias (any of your ideas about dates, destinations, travel type, parameters) and we just instantly show you the flight which should have the best value for you. That’s why we need AI, and that's what we improving all the time. And how we actually use it you can read in the comment above :)
