I think trying to bite into Snapchats user base is a lose-lose situation, they are way too hot right now, if anything I would think how I could piggyback off their momentum. I highly doubt an acqui-hire is on the horizons, typically snapchat acquisitions are for the tech, besides who wants jobs? haha. I like the honesty but maybe they should take their own advice and stick to Youtube videos. This is a perfect example of how hard it is to be a tech founder, no amount of celebrities pushing your product will make you successful unless your product is already good and just needs a kickstart of users. (bad app = more money/time to push, eventually dies, Good app = Spend lump sum to get eyeballs then go viral, hockey stick curve) I wish them the best of luck, and would love to see them prove my assumptions wrong.

The way to take photos/selfies seems weird. As others mentioned, I can't seem to find the benefit of using this versus Instagram or Snapchat.

What does BEME do that others don't do? What is the story? Can you tell me how Beme makes my social life better? You are asking me to use a new APP , but for what? Instagram/Snapchat does most of the things that BEME is designed for . How much ever I love casey and I want your product to work, it (today) doesn't appeal to me. I feel it's missing a piece.

Great product!

I enjoy how easy this makes it to record an upload videos that aren't temporal like Snapchat. However, I wanted to share a video with a friend who does not use beme yet and could not. I would not put the burden on them to download the app to watch my short video.

Casey is killing it. Definitely like the concept although, I think for most, it is a complete departure from the typical photo taking experience. I am interested to see how much the woman demographic likes it.
