@drmanhatta Thank you for the reply. I understand your strategy, but I think it is important to be upfront with how you are going to monetize this product. Especially with a personal landing page, that people will link to from many different places. Speaking for myself, unfortunately, I am not going to use bento because I do not know if or how much I will have to pay for this service in the future. A landing page, that I will potentially link to from many different places, is something that I could not really switch away from again.

@alex_w2 I totally understand that - and definitely a valid point, Alex! We are not upfront about the model because we are currently not entirely sure what it will look like. However, the guiding principle holds true - we want anyone to have a beautiful and delightful personal page. We can't achieve that if we start monetizing this aspect of the product. So what we are thinking goes more along the lines of if we help our users sell things over Bento, it is fair to take a small cut from these sales. We like this model, as it truly aligns incentives between our users and us. If we can't help our users increase their sales using Bento, we don't win either. Meaning - if you don't sell using Bento, you don't pay.

@drmanhatta Cool idea and very intuitive UI. Congrats! Are you planning to embed more interactive content? I tried a Tweet and a TikTok, but it just showed me a screenshot instead of the actual Tweet/Video. iframely.com for example has a great API with over 1900 publishers. Would make Bento even richer... 😉

Congrats on your launch! The design and the onboarding process was really nice 🚀 As a quick dashboard for all the social links to bring a brand together, it makes a lot of sense. I can imagine over time more widgets and customisation options could be added to make pages bit more unique without losing the simplicity of it all. An analytics dashboard would be brilliant, so see how people are interacting and with which links so we can organise the UI to maximise engagement, or how about you do that automatically 👋 Based on user interactions you can shuffle and dynamically update the UI over time to highlight content and improve engagement. It is a great first start and I'm excited to see how you develop it further!

Been so much fun using this app for a month now. ❤️ And then I like to say to the PH community TRY IT.....it is so easy to create a unique profile that shows who you are and what you do.
