BiBimba 1.2.0: copy just the link, address, or QR code out of any item
Most of the time I open a screenshot again, I want one thing out of it: the URL behind a QR code, the address on a receipt, a phone number from a chat. 1.2.0 adds Parts for exactly that.
Select any item in your history and press Control+U. BiBimba lists what it found inside: QR and barcode contents, links, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, and, for text copied from a web page, the page title and URL. Pick one, press Return, and only that value is pasted into the app you came from.
QR codes and barcodes are read on your Mac with Vision when the screenshot is taken, so their contents are searchable in the history too. Nothing leaves the machine, same as before.
If you already have BiBimba, 1.2.0 arrives through the in-app update and is part of the one-time purchase.

Is Control+U customizable, or is there a way to trigger the 'Parts' menu via a quick contextuall click directly from the menu bar list?

@hira_maqsood Good call — this should work with a click too, not just the shortcut. Thanks for the idea!
Control-U itself stays fixed (only the global shortcuts that open BiBimba are remappable, so the keys inside the panel stay consistent), but 1.2.1 will add two mouse paths: a "Copy a part..." button in the item's detail view, and the same entry in the right-click menu on any item. In the meantime you can also get there with Control-K → "Copy a part...", or by clicking the chips under the preview.
@rihito_arai That makes total sense. adding it to the right-click menu and detail view sounds perfect! Thanks for explaining the shortcut setup and logic behind it. Excited for 1.2.1.
The Control+U shortcut is a nice touch. It makes extracting one small piece of information much faster.
