Nice idea. I would however suggest not building a startup backed by a Google product. Google is infamous for changing their products on whim or even shutting them down. I would recommend adding other AI bot backends or build your own.

Thanks for the insight. At the time we launched Botcopy, Dialogflow was the most popular and easiest to manage among the major NLU frameworks. Also it was leading the pack in voice tech quality. We chose it for our POC, with the main vision being a way to connect but not replace the best-in-class NLU frameworks. A lot of that holds true today — we are shameless believers in Google Dialogflow and Assistant. (Botcopy works with Google Assistant response types.) That said, you make a great point, and we are busy working on two more integrations to hit in 2020. These two are comparable to Dialogflow in terms of both fame and functionality, and one is famous for being open source.
So little effort for so much value. You can create highly engaging interactions that solve real customers real problem, easily perfecting it until no client is left behind. By far the best ROI for your support services and/or customer success and such.

Thanks! Love the “no client left behind” idea. Having a smart agent running 24/7 that also closes the gap of defaults over time really does ensure that every customer gets what they need, when they need it.

Super easy to use interface! I was able to add web as my second channel and chat with a Live agent without building custom code. In a matter of a couple of days I had a production ready bot. The customer service is amazing and very responsive. I have and will continue to recommend this product/company to other bot builders.

Excellent question. We encourage everyone to look at a few solutions and see for yourself. In our opinion, Botcopy has a few advantages. We have a native Google integration (OAuth) so you can connect your agent in one click and it’s safe and secure. We don’t have access to your secret JSON file. Last I checked Kommunicate requires a more lengthy and less secure process. Also, connecting Dflow to rich web chat is our single-minded passion, thus we’ve focused on refining the UX for this particular journey to be uncommonly user-friendly. With regard to Crisp, Botcopy saves you the hassle of a custom REST API build and our widget is extremely versatile with a variety of components that take seconds to customize, so there's no front-end dev burden, either. We keep adding features every month. For a fast, easy experience that costs nothing to launch and no drawn-out and ongoing coding headaches, we think we’re a compelling choice for Dflow-powered web chat.

Agreed! When we switched from Chatfuel to Dialogflow a few years ago, a whole new level of flexibility opened up. Perfect for getting user past that make or break moment. Dialogflow can be very nimble in just the right way.
