Great job! Zoom constantly got worse over the last 3 years. And since the start of the pandemic we are still having the same uninspiring video call marathons. It's definitely time for a change.
@ivo_scherkamp It did. That's also the good fight we're fighting. I promise you that you won't have uninspiring call marathons on Butter! (unless you're doing it by yourself. Then it's not as fun. Still fun though.)
@ivo_scherkamp Three years of being on uninspiring sessions just doesn't sound right! π±
And +1 to what Jakob said - both not having non-fun calls on Butter and not being by yourself when you do it π
Yesss @ivo_scherkamp !!
I don't think I could have put it better than @jakob_knutzen1, so I'll keep it to: big thank you for your support π€
No more uninspiring video call marathons π
Awesome to hear @maria_brm π Thank you!
Looking forward to hearing what you think - feel free to reach out if there's anything we can help with π
@maria_brm Another happy Butter discoverer, love it! π Let us know what you think, Maria!

I teach a cohort-based course, and might be one of Butter's earliest users. I tried Zoom for the first cohort, but quickly abandoned it. Zoom just isn't built for meaningful, collaborative engagement. Butter just nails that experience. I've always had students tell me how approachable it makes the course.
@sameer_singh7 This is just an amazing comment that made my day! I know you've seen Butter from it's earlier (uglier) side too, but stuck with it for so long - truly appreciate that it's making such a difference!
Thank you @sameer_singh7 for being there through and through π And as @jakob_knutzen1 mentioned, we really appreciate how you've stuck with us from the start!
You are indeed one of the truest Butter pioneers @sameer_singh7 ππ
We're lucky to have you and it's amazing to hear that Butter helps you bring the experience you want to your courses!
Thank you ππ₯
It absolutely is @usamaejaz π Pinky promises and everything π»
In all seriousness, it is quite powerful! Would love to hear what you think π
And good luck with the upcoming launch π
Yuuuz @johancutych !!
Really appreciate it. Have always been a fan of yours as well and what you've achieved with Welder and now Veed! Amazing to have your support π
Great idea - so often we use technology because it becomes the de-facto tool or even worse, the de-facto way of doing it. Big tech firms are rarely trying to create us new experiences that are more human for us, particularly if it isnt going to generate them any more money. Video conferencing to me seems to fit that mould exactly, so im a big fan of your novel new approach to it with butter.
@highgroundio YES! You hit the hammer on the nail in terms of making the experience more human. That's exactly what we're aiming to do, Mark! So thanks again for your lovely words!
@highgroundio Agree π― That's what we're hoping to disrupt with Butter - and we just want a bit of delight and a lot of smiles along the way! Thanks so much for your support, Mark!

People say I'm impossible to please, but you guys come close. Butter is the best thing since (or with) sliced bread.
(and @jakob_knutzen1 with team are superstars. Very danish, very much hygge)
@jardenberg HAhahah, some people would say that sliced bread is not the same without π§π§π§ π Thanks for your lovely words and support since the early days! This is super cool!
"People say I'm impossible to please, but you guys come close"
Hahaha that definitely sounds like a challenge @jardenberg! We'll do everything we can to get there πͺ
Thanks so much for your support and feedback along the way!

Congrats on the launch of Butter 2.0! I'm excited to see how this helps us collaborate more effectively. Can't wait to give it a try!
Congrats on the launch @jakob_knutzen1 and team! Coming from a background of developing crowd technology to humanize virtual events, this is truly exciting! I truly believe in giving more options for engagement and interactivity, improving the feedback loop in virtual events, is the way to go. Keep it up!!!
Yes, 100% agree with you @cederlund! And really cool to hear that you've been on this journey yourself!
Would love to hear more about your experiences and ideas if you're up for sharing some time π
Thanks for the support!
