Congrats on the launch πŸ‘ Looks like an amazing product 🀯 🀯 🀯 Any plan on how to differentiate it from Rows?

@hideyukishibata That's a great question! Thanks for the support :) I quoted a little bit from another answer about this we got a bit earlier: We've taken more of an easy to use database approach rather than a spreadsheet approach - ie. we have tables with typed fields, vs an open canvas spreadsheet that has spatial "C3" type coordinates. We're more focused on list building. And we've found that with known object-types we can do some pretty wild things that make the UX much easier. For example, we've built People tables that autocomplete when you type a Linkedin URL, email, etc - and don't require you to wire up complex formulas to get going. Company tables are coming soon, and then other object types that we can make easy to get going with and turning on enrichments and integrations around. Our general tables still give you the flexibility to model whatever data you want as well! The Chrome Extension we've built out is a really powerful addition as well in so far as you can map and pull structured data from any website - and the community has already mapped many pages so you can just get the data from those in a click or by pasting a link into out tables. This turns every page into an API and becomes easier the more people use Clay. So again the focus on known entity types is a big differentiator in terms of how it enables us to make the UX easier.

@kareemamin That's awesome Kareem! Speaking of the Chrome extension, it's not working on Brave on my end (thus we call it a Chrome extension but thought you should know). Keep up the good work!

I have been following you for about a year. I have recently become an active user. I like that there are formulas and the way drag-and-drop logic works. It is a bit difficult to work with arrays. I work with them in a separate page. For example, hunter.io gave 20 persona / email on the company through API. How do I combine it with the company row? Yes, this is a problem with all tables. It would be good to add options to use API of those companies who give (for example, take only 10 personal email addresses, where the department matches marketing). This could probably be done now, but not obviously. Although I use a slightly more sophisticated data scraper like apify, I'm increasingly using clay for smaller tasks. I think the product is developing in the right direction. I hope you manage to maintain the fine line between functionality and over-complexity that closes the product for 9 out of 10 users. Thank you for a good product))

@andrewmalcolm Hey Andrew! Thanks for the detailed feedback and for being an active user :) Fully agree on the challenges working with arrays. I don't think anyone's done a great job of solving that yet but we have designs we're excited to implement around how to make working with arrays a much better experience! Would at some point love to see where the Clay scraper needs to improve to help with the apify portion as well! Thanks again!
