Clay - Discover, organize, and deepen relationships

I will preface this by saying that I was super excited about finally trying Clay, just because of the supposedly amazing search. After trying it for a few days, I sadly have to say that the search isn't just less than amazing—it hardly works. I’ll list a simple example: Clay showed me that one the people I follow on Twitter moved to a certain city. Let’s say it’s “New York”. I search for “New York” and their name is not in the search results. Even though that exact keyword is in their profile, within Clay. Frankly, I'm disappointed. For some reason, it does not even sync my Google contacts, even though I logged in with my Google account. It pulls contacts from my Google calendar (without names!), but not from my contacts! Connecting LinkedIn was a pain too. You cannot do it from the website, so at first I tried doing it through the iOS app but the process never started (frozen at “syncing”, 0% progress after nearly an hour). I downloaded the macOS app and it worked. Anyway, I still love the concept and the design is incredible. So I really hope that they're gonna work on the issues I mentioned and turn Clay into the amazing app that I hoped it would be.
