Love the idea behind your product but bc I can’t DM anybody in my family, I am unable to get anybody to check it... serious flaw. Check my profile - I got 9 family members to sign up.... nobody is remembering to check in. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ ping me when this is fixed so I can try it again. Thanks

Do you have a target date (at least) for end-to-end encryption? That's the only thing that's making me think twice. Trying the app right now and looks great!

The button to chat defaults to photos, this is not intuitive. If your are building a chat app gotta be fast straight to text. Takes me some time find where and how to chat specially if I'm used to messenger and whatsapp that go straight to the point, this is a huge minus
@moss_f_ We've gotten this feedback a fair amount now, and are always iterating on the composer. Definitely something we'll consider.

@alexcornell Cool, happy to give user feedback, here is another one, when typing, the view is another view on top of the chat I can't see what's going on, if someone is typing or already responded, you are forcing existing users of other major well adopted apps to get used to another format of chatting umm not good in my opinion especially to start :(
Great work, guys! I do love the notion you've conveyed in Cocoon. Also I've noticed in the video clips you've mentioned cocoon is NOT designed as a social app or messaging app, while the main feature is clustered threading, so which area are you guys are positioning? IMHO it's basically a group chat messenger for family. Also i've noticed in some of the comments Cocoon will be regarded as an alternative of @path. What's your opinion on this?

Great UX/UI and Interaction design, Congrats 👍. I'm not a big fan of social network but this one seems to be different and might be interesting to use with family or group of close friends. Who make the illustration? That add a lot to the design 👌
