Generic software is built for a broad audience, which means it rarely fits a team's specific process perfectly. This forces people to create a new workflow just to fit the tool. You end up with a mix of spreadsheets, external forms, and manual data entry just to compensate for the tool's limitations. This creates data silos, increases errors, and wastes valuable time.
