I promise you won't have to mess around with a single line of code, and especially not any Liquid code, to get creative with brand content in the middle of your collection grids. And when you get another idea, just move things around and preview the results in real time!
My apologies to Shopify veterans traumatized by my mention of "Liquid code".
As a guy who has worked with product merchandising for many years and tried many different solutions, this is definitely the biggest game-changer I have come across!

I agree that the unnatural scrolling on the page is super annoying though. For me personally, the changed inertia and scroll speed make me dread visiting the website, it feels like wading through quicksand. I've brought it up before internally, but I'm a super nitpicky developer and bring up a lot of tiny details. Maybe your feedback is the push @hambena and @charles_binet need to change it 😄
