Hey Product Hunt! 👋
We're so back. We launched an early version of Duos here last November. Today, after four years of building, we're releasing the full version with a new multi-agent interview engine.
The problem hasn't changed: job interviews are the highest-stakes conversations you'll ever have, and the only ones where nobody tells you how you did.
You rehearse in your head, walk in, get a template rejection, and never learn what went wrong.
Meanwhile, the loudest "solution" in AI right now is a tool that whispers answers into your ear during the real call.
We went the opposite direction.
Duos trains you before the interview so you don't need to cheat during it.
How it works:
1. Paste a job link. An agent reads the posting, builds the company profile, picks your interview team, and writes the questions they'd actually ask. You choose the difficulty and upload your CV.
2. Put your headphones on and talk. Interviewers push back and change tactics. Figuring them out is half the fun. When you're stuck, use the hints.
3. Read the debrief. Scorecards, red flags, patterns, and your own words quoted back at you with suggestions for what to do differently.
4. Run it again until you're ready 🥷

Hey Product Hunt, I’m a Product Designer on the team. I know that interview stress first-hand, and I'm far from alone: in surveys interviews rank second only to public speaking.
So since our last launch I've gone deep into what actually throws people off in the room, and we rebuilt the flow around exactly that: you now see how the interviewer reacts to you, get a quick score after every topic and pro tips along the way, and the gamification supports you instead of distracting.
The UI got a full refresh too, tablets included, and web is next.

For the past 4 years I've been privileged to work with a great team of builders.
No one can tell you what you are building, and how you're building it. You have to decide it every day yourself. Try out new ideas, take risks, sometimes fail, sometimes figure out something good and add it to the thing you're working on.
This meant everyone had to step up and go outside their comfort zone: QA doing Marketing, Designers learning to code, Engineers dipping toes in product development, Marketing building animations.
This can only work if you have enough trust within the team, and sometimes it requires you to quiet your own ego.

Nice project and congrats on the launch! Does it tailor an interview by a company, i.e. its interview practices and history — not just the provided description?
@nikitaeverywhere Thanks Nikita! Yes, it is much more than just the job description. We feed the AI additional context to ensure the interview simulation feels highly tailored and realistic.
@nikitaeverywhere Nice question! Full disclosure: we haven't added full agentic company research that would go as far as to read their careers page, news, values, and crawl the internet for insights. Would it make a difference for you to have this feature? Tell me a bit more about this, and I will prioritize it on our roadmap ✨

@matthew_gladyshev not for me but it definitely would, as an interview to a Google position would be very different from an AI startup one, even if their job descriptions are similar.
