Like most people, I’ve always struggled to understand where my money actually goes, whether it's income from my salary, farming, or freelance gigs. I tried spreadsheets, budgeting templates, and different apps, but they were either too complex, too rigid, or felt built for someone else’s life. So I started building ExpenWise, a simple way to track spending, budget intentionally, and make better financial decisions, not with shame or stress but with clarity. It started as a personal challenge: “Can I build something that I would enjoy using every day?” Over time, it evolved as I spoke to my mentor, friends, and noticed we all shared the same pain: Money feels chaotic unless you actively track it… and even then, it’s hard to stay consistent.
