Watch by Facebook - "Facebook TV" has arrived. A new platform for shows. 📺

Not sure if I am excited by this or not. Definitely no surprise, next logical move especially with recent acquisitions in the video space.

Trying to get away from Facebook, dammit.

Content should be accessible everywhere.. I'm certainly not a fan getting tied into ecosystems to watch 1 or 2 particular shows.. I think this is the closest version of that we've seen. Create a page for your tv series and make it watchable on Facebook. Heck movies could even open rolling out on Facebook/VR and that would kill the movie industry. Interesting play!

It's been a TV kind of day. Disney also announcing pulling off Netflix and launching their own streaming. #MoDistractionsMoProblems

Thinking back at what Facebook was just five years ago, the teams have been doing an amazing job. They keep bringing impressive features, big ups to all to makers!

I'm wondering if Facebook TV can beat YouTube in the popularity.

Likely to be major force given the demand side from content creators and user base Facebook holds. We shall see
