Loving Fast.io so far—super fast uploads, easy team sharing, a clean, intuitive interface, and AI, very cool. It’s made managing files way less of a headache. Curious though: how does Fast.io handle version control or file history?
@mr_megiddo Great question. We have file versioning that allows you to see the file history and rollback files to previous versions. And we also have a chain of custody that allows you to see the relevant activity and events that happen to files over time.

Such a needed solution! Dealing with redundant uploads and scattered content is a nightmare - Fast.io looks like a lifesaver. Congrats on the launch!
@shenjun Thank you, Jun! Yes, that was one of the hardest parts. Working with more than just documents is a multiplier on the complexity. But we think it's worth it, especially for people who are working with more than one type of media, like real estate where you may have blueprints as well as contracts, or law where you may have case photos as well as case documents, or even audio transcriptions combined with financial documents.

I'm a Frontend Developer, and I often struggle to keep my files organized for each of the projects I work on. With Fast.io, this becomes much easier since I can create separate workspaces, generate links to share files, and let others view them. This way, everything stays well-organized. Plus, its AI is quite interesting—it's very helpful when I need to get brief descriptions from files without having to open each one. I'm very happy with this product.

The data importer coming soon would solve a major onboarding friction. Getting data into AI tools is often the biggest hurdle.

The ability to share content with your team that isn't just documents is very much needed. More and more people get their information through a video, short clip, or images. Media agencies or even up-and-coming video gaming streaming teams could benefit from sharing their work product with what you're offering.

The information this service pulls out my files is ridiculous. It can handle an enormous amount of documents, pictures, and videos (and pretty much anything else I throw at it!). The metadata it selects and displays is rock solid. It makes managing files simpler and gives an amazing 10k foot view.
