f.lux - Adjusts your computer's display to adapt to the time of day

After getting used to and now loving Night Shift on my iPhone, found this and rushed to PH to post it here since I wasn't sure it was here, but of course it was. What a great product!

Love this. The trend for letting technology adapt to us as users and the context (time, location, environment) we are in is a good one!

well, f.lux is a life savior for me . It really helps me to reduce the eye strain.

A very interesting solution.

Simple, yet effective. I install this app on all of my devices.

f.lux was great - many years ago. But they neither support nor continue the development in a professional way - f.lux has many very annoying issues, e.g.: • Notifications steal the keyboard / window focus • Just because you're living on a place on earth with sunset 6 hours before you will go to sleep, f.lux starts dimming the monitor / starts changing the colors. • f.lux keeps dimming the monitor / changed colors even 2 hours after sunrise in the morning • f.lux forgets to deactivate the dark mode in the morning. All those user feedback are ignored since ... years.

Flux was the pioneer in the "let's save your eyes from blue light" space. And even to this day, native vendor solutions don't come close! (I'm looking at you, Android and WIndows)

This helps my eyes relax!

I've been using f.lux for so long, I don't even remember what my screen originally looked like.
