@BradMcCarty it looks like a great product; however, I'm very wary of apps that need access to my emails. Does your product need access to my emails or just the contacts list? Either way - it seems like a very useful tool.
Brad McCarty
@doktorgurson We absolutely only look at the contacts. Your emails are none of our business and we'd like to keep them that way.

@BradMcCarty Nice! Thank you for the clarification. I'll be giving it a spin tonight.

It would be nice to be able to click on the twitter button and see a preview of the contact's recent tweets, like Rapportive used to do, without a new tab opening up automatically. Overall looks nice, I love the one click appointment scheduling!

@gillianim Thanks for the feedback, Gillian! We've gotten a few requests to this end, and are investigating ways to make the social feeds more accessible from the home screen. Look for that in an upcoming version.

@gillianim Hey, Gillian - this reply is waaaay overdue. I know we've spoken to you on Twitter and elsewhere since then, but just wanted to make sure it was out there for others scanning these comments: we added your suggestion, and FullContact for Gmail has displayed a contact's tweet stream for a while now. :) Thanks for the continued feedback and support!

Simply awesome. I read it on TNW and immediately landed here at PH and it did not disappoint me :) Quite a useful tool, and I see that the KB is also comprehensive unlike many new products!
Kipp Chambers
@vingar Thanks, Vinish! We'll pass the KB feedback on to our Support team. We're consistently impressed by the awesome work they do (although admittedly, we're kinda biased). ;)

love FullContact.... love Bart.... I forget what product I beta tested for him back in the day... but he was one of the most engaged founders I've encountered.... love that this extension is live. Now... just need to improve that mobile app! No one has cards anymore :)
Brad McCarty
@johnhaden Stick around, John ;)

You know... the only bummer (and I don't think this is a Full Contact issue) but with Gmail's new compose window, you can no longer enter a person's email and then have the "rapportive" style window populate so that you can see if it's accurate. Does anyone have a work around?
Brad McCarty
@johnhaden It's a pain point for us too John. But we're working on ways to have it function inside the new compose window.
TrooMobile
Like... it's cool to see this : http://note.io/1ApfLkP but then when you compose, you can't verify that your email address is accurate... this is mostly for sales prospecting, so take it for what it's worth : http://note.io/1wFKWss

@johnhaden Great feedback, John - we're definitely looking closer at how to do it. Given the new compose interface (both the full-screen view and the minimized view), it's a bit of a tricky UX problem - but hopefully we'll be able to figure it out. Stay tuned. ;)

I've been looking for a Rapportive replacement for a while (nothing quite as good out there), definitely interested to try this out more -- didn't have the best experience on my first time through but I think it might be a conflict with @streak and FullContact for Gmail. It seems to bump Streak's right column over in most cases, which is good but then the minimize button in FullContact doesn't work properly for me. I'd be interested in some way to slide this out easily when I want to see it as the Streak column is pretty important to me... One thing I liked about Rapportive it wasn't as intrusive though --- this taking up the full top to bottom isn't bad but in my first test there wasn't a lot of useful info showing up by default. Is it possible to show the more informative info by default vs the contact info. i.e. recent tweets, facebook, other info and a minimal amount of contact info? I need to explore more but just wanted to share my initial experience. Anyone else using Streak with it? I know it's not easy building on top of Gmail since there's a lot of moving parts and other addons etc, and very glad to see an active team working on this -- I know the FullContact team has been working hard for a while now in the contact space. Thanks for working on this!

@NathanSudds i read through this entire thread because i thought i was doing something wrong. but after reading what you wrote, i can confirm this plugin definitely does not play nicely with other gmail extensions.

Also, would be nice if it worked with Inbox.
