New UI is sexy. floating red dot is gone, replaced with matching button next to settings gear. Good improvements

it s great to have an alternative but i feel a little overload here. i liked the light presentation in 1 tab only of rapportive. here several tabs....too many colours. feels less native to gmail

Maybe it's not the right place to ask, but apps like these make me long for a mac app that lets me easily use gmail + apps / google apps for work. Is there such a thing? Would be a great hunt for me!

@juliangijsen Hey, Julian - are you looking to use all aspects of Google Apps/Gmail? Or to link and manage contacts between the two? If the latter, check out our Mac app (in beta right now) - it lets you combine multiple Gmail/Google Apps/iCloud accounts, and updates all contacts with social profile info, photos, demographic info, etc. https://www.fullcontact.com/mac/ Drop me a note if you have any questions.

Good, but doesn't show LinkedIn info, so it can't really replace Rapportive.

I was browsing through a collection of Gmail plugins looking to see if there was anything I was missing. I gave FullContact a try hoping to find a more built-out version of Rapportive however it did not work as well. Verry few contacts were showing up whereas with Rapportive almost all contacts were showing correctly with names, images, and current role.

Hey, guys - yesterday we officially launched FullContact for Gmail 2.0. It includes user-requested interface and speed improvements, the ability to play nicer with other extensions, and some more awesome stuff under the hood. More to come in the next few months!

Update for you - The new version of FullContact for Gmail we shipped today now supports Google Inbox (or Inbox by Gmail - whichever you prefer to call it). I don't get it -- installed in Chrome, connected to Gmail (also tried reload and browser restart), but every contact shows "Add to contacts" rather than anything useful about a contact already in my Gmail contacts -- what am I missing here?

You mean, I don’t need to use Google Contacts as a CRM anymore, this to constant disappointment from the promises of 100s of other apps? 🤭
