Gemini Deep Research Agent - The best research agent is open for devs

The Gemini Deep Research Agent is now available to developers via the Interactions API. Powered by Gemini 3.0 Pro, it autonomously plans, executes, and synthesizes multi-step research tasks.

Wow, Gemini looks incredible! The Deep Research Agent is seriously game-changing. Im curious, how does it handle conflicting information sources when synthesizing its findings?

The Interactions API for Deep Research is a game-changer for building autonomous agent systems. Being able to delegate multi-step research tasks to Gemini 3.0 Pro means I can focus on orchestration rather than individual API calls.

From building 106-agent swarms, the hardest part has always been coordinating distributed research—each agent needs different context, and maintaining coherence across parallel research threads is brutal. If Deep Research can autonomously plan, execute, and synthesize... that's exactly what's needed for production-grade multi-agent architectures.

Two questions for the team:

1. How does it handle conflicting information across sources during synthesis?

2. Can we chain multiple Deep Research calls with context carryover?

This is the kind of developer-first API that actually moves the needle. Well done Google team!

Looks interesting. Curious how this compares to other deep research agents for real-world business use.

Gemini looks incredible! The Deep Research Agent via the Interactions API is mind-blowing. Im curious, how well does it handle research requiring access to paywalled content?

Wow, Gemini looks incredible! The multimodal capabilities are a game changer. Im especially curious how the Interactions API handles bias in autonomously generated research reports?

Wow, Gemini looks incredible! Super hyped about the Deep Research Agent – the autonomous multi-step research is a game changer. Im curious, how does it handle conflicting information from different sources during its research?

It does a really good job. He coped with this task perfectly:

Search for all optics parlours in London that sell Japanese frames similar in quality and design to the Mykita brand. Then, build the best car route along them and find out near which of the stores you can drink a good match (by analysing customer reviews).

Love seeing Deep Research opened up via the Interactions API — the plan → search → fill gaps → synthesize loop is exactly what dev tools need. Quick Q: what controls do we get for cost/latency (max steps/tool-call limits), and can we get a trace of which sources drove each section?

I work on multilingual AI tools and am interested in how this agent processes research. It can analyze and summarize information in several languages, which is useful for teams working in different regions

How does the agent interpret cultural context or idioms when it uses non-English sources? This is a practical development for building tools that work across different languages. Good luck with the launch
