Less visible, but super impressive from a practical standpoint: Google X's Loon project to use RL for flying balloons. Too bad they canned the project...

I think a really cool usage for AI right now is using Open AI's Dall-E for stock image generation. You can feed stock images from any source and generate unique stock images for your content. A pretty unique way to avoid having the same images as others.

Quillbot is not bad

DALL E 2 - The AI image generator. It is really cool! Converts the text to images just like that! You don't have to search for images that need to fit into the context of the content.
