I really like the story behind this product. We spent a lot of money on genetic testing when my son had cancer. A LOT. And I've always thought those tests have greater value than cancer treatment but I'm not a geneticist so being able to interpret them into a useful form is pretty much impossible. This is seriously genius. Can you upload any test or only from specific sources?
@dawn_veltri1 Dawn, thank you for sharing your story. Yes, for my previous work in Japan, I really struggled from spreading those valuable tests, but for many cases, people had to pay for it from out of pockets. We are not providing any health and disease analysis yet, but will help developing those ecosystem in coming years. Also, right now, the product is compatible with 23andMe/Ancestry/MyHeritage, but it will also expand the compatibility soon.

Yes, because many people are they do not know there legal parents, this is helpful for everyone 😊😊
@rang Yep, you know it. That's right. We benchmarked users using Promethease. Think of Airbnb learned from how people were using Craigslist. People want to know and do more with DNA data, but the solution is still limited.

I have to admit, this is intriguing. Are all previous DNA tests compatible with Genomelink? How do you report the results?
@rubenwolff We are currently focusing on Ancestry/23andMe/MyHeritage data for lean product development, but the data formats are universal across any DNA test kit companies. We will be expanding the compatibility to all of them soon or later. We report the results with high transparency, and if your DNA data does not have particular genetic markers to perform certain analysis, we will communicate that too.

Iconic product - iconic mission - I can finally help my grandparents resolve their age old dispute about their ancestry (which matters a lot in India!)
@rahul_j_mathur Thanks! I hope your family will enjoy it! We will be adding more ancestry staffs, so stay tuned!

I found it amazing that I can integrate my exams into genomelink.io, but what I saw as being offered on a monthly basis doesn't make sense to me unless every month there is some supplement or follow-up on the results.
I would be more willing to pay for the partial or total report than to pay the monthly fee, that is, what will possibly happen is that people will subscribe to the one month and cancel it, in my opinion of course.
Another point is that some results are based on weak research and asking the client to report their own beliefs seems to me to be a flawed and not very empirical approach.
To be a subscription, it would have to offer something more, such as allowing a connection network between genetic descendants to exchange messages or health monitoring services that indicate and warn about disease possibilities and send warnings by email, Whatsapp, Telegram or SMS when it is close to a medical exam because of that genetic propensity.
There are now several predictive medical protocols, but no one has put them together or used AI in order to benefit people's lives and help them avoid being caught by surprise with DNA-associated diseases.
I say this because this was my Startup project here in Brazil. A system that informs people and their families when it is time to undergo certain medical tests, so that they are not taken by surprise or have their dreams ended before their time.
Gratitude,
Marco Querini
