I burnt out.
I was on the buss home from my first job, I dissociated and had to grab the seat in front of me to not pass out.
I was only in my mid twenties and thought I could work 10 hour days, all in my head, coding and solving problems without repercussion.
I was wrong.
I had to come back to my body.
To a fuller way of being.
A way to brought all the aspects of my self together. Mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.
So I started practicing yoga.
And slowly I started to regulate and expand my way of being.
Conscious breathing and movement is a vital part of my day now. And when I forget for a period I am viscerally reminded of how important it is.
Remember to take breaks.
Remember to breathe.
