Doomscroll Fog is a Chrome extension that helps you scroll less by gently blurring feeds after a set time. It does not block content or track you. Customize scroll limits, snooze by site, and view daily usage in a clean, private interface.
We built Doomscroll Fog after realizing how often we lose track of time while scrolling Twitter or Reddit. We did not want to block sites or use harsh reminders. We just needed a gentle nudge. So we created this extension to gradually blur the page after a set scroll time. It is lightweight, runs entirely on your device, and respects your privacy. The first version came out of a Sundai hack session, and we have been refining it ever since. We would love your feedback on the idea, the user experience, and what could make it more useful to you.

Love that it doesn’t block, but just reminds me to chill
