I've been using Grain for a couple of months now. We do a lot of user research and expert research for courses at Reforge. Capturing the exact words, emotions, and other nuances has been amazing. Those things tend to get watered down in summary docs or even quotes. šŸ™Œ

@bbalfour Couldn't have put it better myself. Glad you've been getting so much value out of Grain.

Any plans on linux app? At least for Ubuntu LTS. As a web dev using Linux work laptop and participating in Zoom conferences all the time Grain would be useful.
Jeffrey Hardison
@spurlos89 We don't currently have plans for a Linux desktop app, but we'll pass on the feedback to the team.

This looks promising, I'm definitely interested in trying it myself. @mgadams3 how well does it work for transcriptions of speakers whose English is their second language?
Jeffrey Hardison
@iamredlus We currently only offer English transcriptions of Zoom calls.

Awesome product @mgadams3 . I just recommended it to another person. I’m now talking about grains for the first min of every Zoom call. Nice growth strategy there. I heard there was a referral program. Please give us more info as soon as you can.

We're huge fans of Grain at User Interviews! We use it for all of our sales calls and reviews and for user research studies. The product delights and they keep making it better over time. It's a game changer.

@baselfakhoury Thanks Basel! We found so many of our early users that are still super active today via UserInterviews.com feedback sessions.

Love Grain. I'm in the online education space so I probably use it differently than most, but it's an incredible tool for allowing students to easily rewatch specific parts of the lecture that were confusing to them. Congrats on the launch team and thanks again for making my life easier!

@tylermcginnis33 education is my passion and background, so glad to hear others are finding it useful for that purpose too!

Our team has been using grain and it's :fire:. Really helpful for bringing the voice of the user into our meetings.

@willhoughteling Awesome to hear, thanks Will!

The moment I saw a Grain clip from a meeting I was in, I was hooked. I started using the product and then begged my way in to invest (they were not raising and I broke my rules to make it happen). I use the product every single day and it is a complete gamechanger for me and my partnership. Taking notes next to a timestamp on meeting so I can see the corresponding clip does wonders for my own memory and insights from a meeting. Even more so, sharing highlights within our partnership (vs text to describe what occurred or was explained in a meeting) is next-level communication and collaboration. Congrats on the launch @mgadams3 and @jakecadams
