I absolutely love Hero!! I’ve been an avid Facebook marketplace user my whole life, and with the AI wave taking over this has been my new favorite platform. Would love to see a Facebook integration to list items on both but without the friction that Facebook has! Love it!

@kaigradert I was thinking about something that would actually be able to link to the product pages themselves or allow people to buy the shopify products from the app! Other platforms such as Etsy have such poor reach due to SEO and paid ads, and it's so hard to get products in front of anyone's eyes on these platforms without going wild on SEO, which erases the individuality of my clothing posts, for me.

@kaigradert @maia_buljeta I can feel your pain Maia, but if you're reaching buyers on 2nd hand marketplaces like Hero & others, your prices would have to be low margin/high volume wouldn't they? Otherwise your listings become like paid/sponsored posts in a 2nd hand marketplace (which I usually ignore because I'm looking for something really cheap / repurposed to either save costs or avoid buying new & adding to the consumption problem in the world)

If i understand this correctly, your Buyers also have to be on Hero? But they are all on FB and EBay and Gumtree right now - how do THEY know about Hero? Love the concept but you need the buyers?

@peterbwhalley Thanks for the comment. We are actively working on integrations with other sites. As a seller, you shouldn't have to think about where your item sells.

Congrats on the launch! I've always want to sell something when livestreaming, but I haven't stepped out the first step because I always want to prepare the "perfect" plan before I get started. But with Hero, I believe this process could be far more easier! Brilliant!

@seekrsi Do you mean fake listings? Sellers can not upload any photos or videos. You can only scan items or record a pitch video. This means it's harder to fake any listings.

I really like the concept especially because my little sister loves selling stuff online. But it should enable us to sell stuff/make listings on any 3rd party platform (where there are already active audiences) rather than just inside the hero app
